With a wide variety of hardware, software and operating systems in use within the organisation, the Computing Services division needs to keep up to date with the latest developments in IT while at the same time continuing to support legacy equipment and software. The skills and expertise that has been developed internally is also at the disposal of our customer base.

One of the key services provided is in the customisation of data-capture software to enhance productivity. Software is predominantly written in MDL for MicroStation, AutoLISP for AutoCAD, and Visual Basic, Visual Fortran and C++ for other applications. The experience within the department is extensive and has benefited many businesses within Europe.

Significant software applications have been produced for Railtrack, and technical support is provided to a wide variety of organisations from Architects and Engineers to Council Departments
